In recent years a lot of rebuilding and restoration work has been done at Castle de Haar. Besides foundations, technical restoration and interior restoration, also a large number of rooms have been restored to their original state. A time-consuming and intensive restoration. We are therefore particularly proud that the finishing touches were recently put on a number of special rooms. These rooms are now open to visit and added to the regular itinerary, including free booklet "Bedroom Secrets." Discover all the secrets hidden behind these (bedroom) rooms.

The guests who stayed at Castle de Haar during the traditional September were family members, friends, bankers, industrialists, writers, movie stars, directors and high and low nobility from all over the world. They stayed at De Haar for several days or several weeks. Some guests got a room alone, others shared a room with their partner. Were you not a family, staff or guest? A limited number of tickets are available each day. For visitors who have a ticket to the castle, this means that they can enjoy all the stories and opulence that Kasteel de Haar has to offer in peace and with 1.5 meters of space.
