In addition to the extras in the castle, there are several activities in the park. See below when which activity takes place:
OLDTIMER IN THE PARK

CARRIAGE WITH TWO HORSES IN THE PARK
Every Sunday
RING STABBING FOR CHILDREN
Mount your hobby horse, take a big run and gallop over the obstacles! Will you manage to catch the ring? Show off your skills and earn the super cool ring stabbing diploma! (3 to 12 years)
Every Saturday and Sunday, between 11 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Châtelet
WHERRY SAILING ON THE MOAT
Step aboard this classic English rowing boat and take a lap around the moat.
Every Saturday and Sunday, between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., moat (at your own risk)
CARILLON CONCERT
Carillonneur Wim Ruitenbeek plays the carillon located in the Châtelet.
Saturday, Sept. 14 and Sunday, Sept. 15, from 2 p.m. - 3 p.m., at the Châtelet area
PERFORMANCE UTRECHTS STUDENTENKOOR (USKO)
The Utrecht Student Choir can be admired in the Chapel during an open rehearsal between11:00 and 12:30. You can then walk in and out. At 13.00 and 14.00 hours they will give a performance of about fifteen minutes, where: full is full. Find a seat in time in the Chapel and get carried away by classical masterpieces by Brahms and others.

From September 1 to September 30, 2024, Castle de Haar will be dedicated to the September tradition. This extra experience is included in the castle visit, there are no additional costs involved. A castle ticket costs € 19,- for adults and € 12,50 for children. When showing your Museumkaart a visit to Castle de Haar is free.
Castle de Haar will be open every day in September from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. (doors close at 4:30 p.m.). Changing activities will take place each day.
