On Ascension Day, Thursday, May 14, we open the gates of the castle an hour earlier than usual. You are welcome from 10.00 am. The gardens are open daily from 09.00 am. Come along for a relaxing day out and enjoy a beautiful combination of culture and nature all weekend.
Wonder and discover
Wander through the richly decorated rooms of the castle and immerse yourself in the extravagant life of the Van Zuylen van Nijevelt family. In addition, the French-style gardens, the Maze, Deer Park and the vast English landscape park with its spring blossoms invite young and old to take a delightful stroll. Take a break on the Picnic Meadow or on the sunny terrace with something tasty from Tuynhuis Gabrielle. And maybe you will come across the ice cream bike!

For the young visitors
The (grand)children can set off with Noet Noet, the talking castle cat! Reserve a time slot for Noet Noet in advance on the website and discover sneak routes through the castle on your way to the secret party high in the attic.
Noet Noet fully booked? Then go on a treasure hunt in the castle with 'Visiting the Baron and Baroness' and playfully discover everything about the nobility and life in the castle. In the gardens the kids can help the baron search for his animals with the treasure hunt 'Find the escaped animals'. More information about these activities can be found in the agenda.
Visitor informationThe gardens of Kasteel de Haar are open daily from 09.00 am. The castle is open daily at 11 a.m. and on Thursday, May 14, at 10 a.m. All children's activities are included with an entrance ticket.
