Guided tour of Castle de Haar for the visually impaired

September 20

This year, Castle de Haar, together with three other regional castles, is offering special tours for people with visual impairment. These tours are made possible in part by Bartiméus Fund, Visio Foundation and LSBS. The tours are designed for people with visual impairments and offer an accessible way to experience the special history of castles. During the tour, an experienced guide will take you through the stories of Kasteel de Haar, Slot Zuylen, Kasteel Amerongen and Museum Huis Doorn. If you are curious about tours at the other participating castles, check out the dates on this page.

The next tour at Castle de Haar will take place on:

- Sunday, September 20, 9:30 a.m.

Visitor information

The tour starts at 9:30 a.m. and lasts about two hours. The tour is aimed at Dutch-speaking adults.

Because of the many stairs in the castle, the tour is not suitable for people with walking difficulties. The castle can only be reached on foot. It is possible to drive up to the drawbridge by car to get out; not to park. If you would like to use this, please notify the reception desk by phone at 030 6778515.
