Registrar

Castle de Haar, with its permanent decorative elements, collection of furniture and art objects, is among the highlights of European interior art from around 1900. Architect Pierre Cuypers designed the building and matching furniture and utensils. In addition, between 1895 and 1910, Baron and Baroness Van Zuylen van Nijevelt - De Rothschild collected hundreds of objects in the field of painting and drawing, asiatics, ceramics, tapestry, antiques and curiosa. Currently, the Stichting Kasteel de Haar manages approximately 7000 museum objects, most of which are located 'in situ' in the castle and the chapel. Stichting Kasteel de Haar is a registered museum.
