Calling all sleuths

Castle de Haar calls on all helpers to help search for the stolen gingerbread recipe. Kitchen help Jean-Luc, after an altercation with the chef, ran away. Before he left, he hid the family's gingerbread recipe.

The van Zuylen van Nijevelt family always ate these peppernuts on Christmas Eve and have very fond memories of them. Therefore, the special family recipe should not be lost!

Fortunately, there are clues in the castle that allow the recipe to be recovered. The Baron and Baroness are only very bad at finding these clues and solving riddles themselves. Therefore, they are urgently looking for helpers who want to help find them.

Visitor information

From Nov. 16 to Dec. 5, 2024, the scavenger hunt "The Stolen Peppermint Recipe" is free with a castle visit and available in the museum store. There is a version for 6- and for 6+.
