Walking routes in the castle gardens
Available for free in the Entrance Building
Under the supervision of the famous garden architect Hendrik Copijn, when the castle was rebuilt, an English landscape park with French style gardens of over 55 hectares was laid out. With each season its own charm, scents, shapes and colors suitable for a lovely long walk. Want to know more about the highligths along the route? Then do the QR code walk. For children, we offer a special scavenger hunt through the gardens.
QR code walk (approx. 1 hour)
Through signs along the route and a handy online guide, you will discover special stories about the park and the noble family Van Zuylen van Nijevelt. The QR code walk takes about 1 hour and changes per season. Check the calendar for the current walk.
