Discover the stories of the Chapel
November 8 - 12
12:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Normally the doors of the Chapel are closed, but from November 8 to 12 they are wide open to visitors. Have you always been curious about what lies behind the closed doors of the Chapel? Then this is your chance!
When the castle was still a ruin, the Chapel stood in the middle of the village of Haarzuilens. The Chapel was in such bad shape that it was used as a pigsty. During the rebuilding of the castle, the Chapel was also addressed. The building was completely rebuilt and, like the castle, served as a memorial to Baron Etienne's ancestors. Thus, many memorials can be found in the decoration of the Chapel.
Since its reconstruction, the Chapel has been used as the final resting place of many family members. There is also the opportunity to say "I do" in the Chapel and this happens regularly!
A visit to the Chapel is possible with a valid park ticket. Do you only want to visit the Chapel? Then choose the 'park ticket' option on the ticket page. Do you also want to see the castle? Then you can choose for a 'castle ticket'. This already includes a park visit.
