Calling all sleuths!

Castle de Haar is calling on all sleuths to help find the stolen recipe! Kitchen help Jean-Luc, after an altercation with chef Pierre Amory, ran off. Before he left, he hid the secret recipe for the Chester Cake. This cake is very special and was already eaten by Baron Etienne van Zuylen van Nijevelt. So a real family tradition. It would be really terrible if the recipe were to be lost. Therefore, the Baroness hereby appeals to all children to help find it.

Fortunately, Jean-Luc did leave clues in the castle, which will hopefully help find the stolen recipe. But unfortunately, the Baroness herself is not so good at finding clues and solving riddles. Therefore, she appeals to all children with an eye for detail and a good sleuth. Will you help find the secret recipe? Baroness van Zuylen van Nijevelt van de Haar will be eternally grateful if you succeed! Who knows, you might even receive a reward afterwards!

From July 8 to August 31, 2023, the scavenger hunt "The Stolen Recipe" is free with a castle visit. This scavenger hunt is suitable for children ages 8 and up. There is also a version for little sleuths aged 4 and up.

Regular castle admission fees apply for this activity; there is no additional cost for the scavenger hunt.
