The Mother's Day picnic on Sunday, May 14 is unfortunately fully booked. On Mother's Day both catering locations at Castle de Haar are open, where you are of course welcome. Tables are available on call, so unfortunately reservations are not possible. More information about the opening hours and the menu can be found here.

On Mother's Day, Kasteel de Haar offers you the perfect opportunity to spoil your mother completely. Put her in the spotlight in a special way by surprising her with a picnic in the park overlooking the castle. Enjoy the cozy picnic, walk through the vast park and visit the impressive castle. Make a beautiful memory together this Mother's Day! 

The Mother's Day picnic includes:

A picnic crate with extensive contents from Koetshuis de Haar and a castle ticket per person.

For adults, the picnic crate consists of:

- Pumpkin sandwich with brie, romaine lettuce and balsamic dressing
- Corn-ciabatta with herb cheese, grilled zucchini, roasted walnut and arugula
- Wrap with smoked chicken, bacon, tomato, romaine lettuce, cheddar cheese and ranch dressing
- Pretzel roll with cream cheese cream and ham on the bone with arugula
- Spicy cucumber soup with black pepper and fresh yogurt
- Salad of tomato, pickled red onion and fresh balsamic vinegar
- Summery tiramisu of red fruit, orange and ladyfingers
- Milk and seasonal juices from Schulp

For children, the picnic crate consists of:

- Soft brown roll with farmer's cheese
- Soft white bun with ham
- Crazy waffle with white chocolate, marshmallows and shark dip
- Fresh fruit salad of the season
- Bottle of apple juice from Schulp

At the reception of Castle de Haar you will receive the entrance tickets for the castle and the voucher for the picnic. From there you will walk to the Tuynhuis in the castle park, where the picnic crate will be waiting for you. Find a nice spot on the picnic meadow and enjoy the delicacies together!
