Saturday, January 21, 15 horse-drawn sleighs, led by Robert Elsing, will ride in a procession through the castle park of Castle de Haar. From 12:00 to 13:30, this spectacle can be admired.

Young and old take a step back in time, when all transport was still on horseback. Baron Etienne and Baroness Hélène also made many shorter trips on horseback in the early years. In the stable yard, the horses were kept and cared for. The carriages were also given a special place and maintained and polished. Thus, all guests could be brought from the train station to the castle.

This spectacle is a fun outing for young and old alike. Stroll through the castle park and enjoy the stately horses, the detailed sleighs and the beautifully dressed coachmen.

To watch the sleigh ride, you only need a park ticket. If you also want to visit the castle, choose a castle ticket. With that you get free entrance to the park.
