Wednesday, May 19 reopening park and gardens
Castle de Haar
Visitors warmly welcome
Good news; Wednesday, May 19, the gardens and park of Castle de Haar are open to visitors again after a period of 5 months. Visitors are welcome to get some fresh air and enjoy the beautiful nature and the impressive view of the castle. This opening is even more festive because of the planting of annuals by the garden team of Castle de Haar. These will ensure that the Great Cour and the Roman Garden can soon be admired beautifully in bloom. Ticket sales start on Tuesday, May 18.
Reopening gardens and park
With the reopening of the gardens and park, visitors will have the opportunity to safely enjoy the outdoors and nature; which is at its most beautiful around this time. Access is only possible with a ticket reserved online. To best manage the flow of visitors and vouch for the safety of each visitor, we work with time slots. Once you are inside, you may stay in the park and gardens as long as you like.
Surrounding the castle are the park and gardens. The park is over 55 acres in size. Avenues and winding paths traverse the park and gardens in different ways, providing a variety of walking routes. There is plenty of space in the park to enjoy a private getaway. During a walk, the maze, large deer park, romantic covered bridge and picnic meadow by the pond are attractive destinations.
