Every year the ANWB organizes the election for the Best Outing of the Netherlands and the Best Outing of the Provinces. The professional jury has given their verdict and determined that Castle de Haar belongs to the top 12 of the province of Utrecht. And now we need your help!

Outings are ranked based on a final grade. The final grade is a combination of the number of votes and rating on 5 criteria:
- Price/quality ratio: fair prices, value for money
- Atmosphere: appearance and experience, decoration of the park, pleasant crowds
- Offer: amount of activities, etc. Accessibility for the whole family, enough activities to enjoy yourself for at least part of the day.
- Customer service: friendly and helpful staff, service, ease of booking/ordering tickets
- Facilities: parking facilities, accessibility (by public transport), (healthy) food and beverage offerings, accessibility for the disabled, sanitary facilities (hygiene)
